Ryan Moore

KRC Rock

Ryan has been working in the landscape and hardscape industry since 2005. He has worked closely with Builders, Architects, Landscape Architects, Contractors, Local/International Quarries, Manufacturers and Fabricators on projects throughout the US. These projects have included theme parks (Disney, Sea World, Lego-land), municipal projects (airports, freeways, schools, and public parks), commercial buildings, and residential landscaping.

He regularly speaks to trade organizations and businesses providing training and instruction on a wide variety of topics including: How to specify natural stone materials, US Green Building Council (USGBC) guidelines, installation techniques for natural stone and hardscape materials, drought-tolerant landscapes and other related topics

Rachel Farrior-Conney

Rachel is the Principal Interior Designer at RF Design Couture. She’s on the ASID/San Diego Chapter’s Board of Directors, and serves as the current Communications Director. Rachel will discuss the major benefits to working with a professional and accredited ASID interior designer.

David has 12 years experience in the cabinetry industry.  His company, Kitchen and Bath Experts represents three industry leading cabinetry companies and is able provide cabinetry for almost any design a client desires. He holds Bachelors degrees in Accounting and Marketing from the University of Illinois in Accounting and Marketing, and an MBA from Northern Illinois University.

Fritzi Gros-Daillon

CEO and founder of Household Guardians

Fritzi Gros-Daillon is a highly successful entrepreneur in senior move management, environmental consulting, and most recently, the aging-in-place field. Her passion for keeping family members safe in their own home environment for as long as is reasonably possible has grown from watching families struggle with choices and decisions about the issues of staying home or downsizing. The goal is to maximize longevity and independence in the home environment of choice while minimizing the stress and worry.

She earned her Masters in Business Policy at Columbia University and combined with her environmental business background, certification as a Living by Design Specialist and years of experience, Fritzi brings a combination of expertise and perspective to the current aging-in-place

David Berens and Juliann Berens

Owners – ReFind Kitchens

Juliann Berens is brings 18 years experience in interior design, 16 years of which spent owning her own environmentally-minded design firm. She is an NCIDQ certified interior designer, LEED AP, Certified-Aging-In-Place Specialist, has held both commercial and residential general contractor licenses, and was instrumental in founding the Tucson branch of the Arizona Green Building Council. She is currently Director of Design for ReFind Kitchens – a zero waste luxury kitchen and bath company.

David Berens manages operations and oversees deconstructions for ReFind Kitchens. He served as a Fulbright Scholar in Uruguay, graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a B.S. in Economics, and has worked in many different facets of sustainable construction. He excels at designing for people, planet and pocketbook.

Carl Spiteri

Carl strongly believes that financial literacy paves the way to financial success. He’s been answering questions about commercial and residential lending, credit scoring, budgeting and all things money since 1991.

Carl is an adjunct professor at Woodbury University, teaching architects about project finance. I also teach the course “Basics of Lending” for the California Association of Realtors.

Marcel Perry

SunPro offers a full spectrum of window films products for commercial and residential applications. Marcel is an expert on solar film to address (heat rejection, ultraviolet rejection, and glare reduction), anti-graffiti, security films (both in clear and solar control) and decorative films (frost, etched, and patterned) to enhance any home or office interior. Marcel attended Lamar University.
